Before (top) & After (bottom) Digital Restoration and Print-Formatting: Patent drawing for “a type-writer” by Christopher L. Sholes, Carlos Glidden, and J. W. Soule. The damaged frame around the drawing was repaired and a color background was added. The final file was formatted as a 16″x20″ and printed using a professional Epson Pro 4800 Inkjet Printer on matte paper.

Sepia-tinted, print-ready image of ancestors and vintage automobile. The final prints are 5×7″ with white borders, so they can go straight in a frame with no mat needed.
When retouching an image, the possibilities are endless. Regarding this image, the client just wanted me to clean up the stray hairs, enhance the overall tone of the photo and smooth the woman’s skin.
This portrait of Sitting Bull is one I actually found on the web, believe it or not. I was surprised that by doing some Google searches, I was able to find a semi-high-resolution (approx. 8×12″ at 300dpi) photo of this well-known Native American Chief. The final, formatted image is 18×24″ and will be framed and hung at my client’s house.
